1. Take big basket(with lid) and small basket as shown below, make sure top basket sits completely on top of small basket without any gaps.
2. Before u make big basket sit on small one, make some holes at bottom of big basket (small circle). And make holes on basket near lid portion. Atleast 2-3 layers for air circulation.
3. Place a filter cloth(jaali) on top of holes (small circle), this is to let only the pass through from top basket to bottom. That is it is important to make few holes(small circle like) that covers jaali
4. By now u should have lid, holes punched, jaali placed in/on big basked, this is placed on small basket.
5. Make a tap at bottom of small basket to collect water
6. Now set is up is 100% complete, you just put kitchen waste regularly on top portion of basket and add water regularly to it. After sometimes you can collect water that gets deposited at bottom basket through tap.
Benefits: Holes on top basket helps in air circulation, filter helps in not letting kitchen waste enter bottom basket, tap helps in taking out fertilizer water.
Since kitchen waste is added regularly, most of the times it get deposited due to closed lid and water addition and level gets lower so that u can always have space to add additional kitchen waste.
